Delete your Jain Panchang account

You can request permanent deletion of your Jain Panchang JP ID account and the data associated with that account without reinstalling the app.

How to request deletion

  1. Tap Request Account Deletion below.
  2. Send the email preferably from the recovery email linked to your JP ID.
  3. Include your JP ID and display name so we can locate the correct account.
  4. We may ask for limited verification before deletion to protect your account from unauthorized requests.

Never send passwords, OTPs or payment card details. Jain Panchang JP ID does not require you to send a password for deletion.

What will be deleted

After the request is verified, we will delete Jain Panchang account data associated with the JP ID, where applicable, including:

  • JP ID / account identifier and profile
  • Display name
  • Recovery email address
  • Phone number, if provided
  • Account-linked Family membership / invitation records
  • Other server-side data linked specifically to the deleted JP ID, where applicable
Deletion is permanent. Once completed, the deleted JP ID account cannot be restored.

Local data, purchases and retention

Local remindersPersonal reminders stored only on your device are removed by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
Google Play purchasesGoogle Play may retain transaction records under Google's own legal, accounting and platform requirements. Jain Panchang does not control deletion of Google's own purchase records.
Required recordsWe may retain only the minimum information required for security, fraud prevention, legal or regulatory obligations, and only for as long as required for that purpose.

Account deletion requests are handled after identity verification. If we need additional information to locate or verify the account, we will reply to the email address used for the request.
