Invitation-only membership
Knowing a Family ID is not enough to join. An existing approved member invites the exact JP ID, and the recipient sees a pending invitation that must be accepted.

Family Alerts gives Jain Panchang users a controlled shared calendar for household and family events. It is private by design: members are added through exact JP ID invitations and the recipient must accept.
Knowing a Family ID is not enough to join. An existing approved member invites the exact JP ID, and the recipient sees a pending invitation that must be accepted.
Approved Family members can create shared Family events. The event creator manages their event; if a creator is no longer a current member, the Family can remove that orphaned event.
Each current approved Family member contributes 15 active Family Event Credits to the shared pool. Active one-time events use one credit. A yearly event keeps one credit occupied until that recurring event is deleted.
Sync Family performs an immediate server fetch for membership and Family events, refreshes the local cache and reconciles local alerts. Once an event is on your device, reminder-time does not depend on Firebase or OneSignal.
A member can leave a Family. Membership count and available capacity adjust, existing events are not automatically deleted, and that Family’s local alerts are cancelled on the leaving device.
JP ID is the identity key used for Family invitations.
