LATEST JAIN PANCHANG UPDATE

Your Jain Calendar just became much more useful.

The latest Jain Panchang update keeps Tithi and the Jain Calendar at the centre, while adding a new personal, family and community layer around it.

Meet Ekta Setu — a new connection hub for My Reminders, Family Alerts and Sangh Updates — together with Jain Daily Details, National/State holidays and smarter local event alerts.

The Calendar is still the heart of Jain Panchang

We have not turned the Calendar into a crowded social feed. The Jain month, Sud/Vad, Tithi and important religious information remain central. New information appears around the calendar so you can also see personal reminders, family events, Sangh updates and civil holidays without losing the Panchang view.

From “today’s Tithi” to “what matters today”

A single date can now carry several useful layers: Jain Daily Details, a National or State holiday, your own reminder, a Family Alert and a Sangh event. The aim is simple — one dependable place to understand the day.

Designed to keep working without daily internet dependence

Core Panchang information remains offline-first. Personal reminders are device-local. Family and Sangh information is synced when needed, while scheduled event alerts work locally after the event has reached your device.

Start with the new update in four steps

1

Open Calendar

Your familiar Jain Calendar remains the main starting point.

2

Open Ekta Setu

Use the new hub for personal, family and Sangh features.

3

Choose what matters

Create a reminder, connect with Family/Sangh or review Holidays and Jain Daily Details.

4

Let the app remind you

Timed events can alert you 30 minutes and 5 minutes before, with a 5-minute Snooze option where supported.

Platform note: Event-alert presentation can vary by Android/iPhone version and the permissions allowed on the device. The app always follows the platform rules available to it.

Frequently asked questions

Will the new features change my Jain Tithi calculations?

No. These features sit around the existing Panchang experience. They do not change Jain Calendar, Tithi, Choghadiya, Hora, Nakshatra or other calculation engines.

Do I need a JP ID for everything?

No. My Reminders and normal Panchang use do not require a JP ID. JP ID is used when you want to participate in Family or Sangh features.

Do the new reminders require internet at reminder time?

No. Once a timed event is stored and scheduled on the device, the alert is local. Family/Sangh information may need sync when changes are made elsewhere.

Can I use the new features in Gujarati and Hindi?

Yes. The latest feature flows are designed for English, Gujarati and Hindi, with the same app-controlled Light/Dark appearance.
